Online Zoom classes work! Here is a wonderful feedback from one of my students.
Petra and PD Active have done a splendid job making the transition to zoom classes. In the midst of sheltering in place, the classes themselves - along with online interaction with Pera and fellow students - brighten our days.
I should add that I was beginning to reach the point of having difficulty actually making it to classes - a problem we will all eventually face. Now every week I am taking three exercise classes with Petra. Remarkably, after four weeks of this more intensive work, I actually reversed a key Parkinson's symptom. I had reached a point where I had to use a walker to get around our house. But now I have largely stopped using the walker at home. It's wonderful! I certainly hope that the zoom classes continue in the longer run.
